FANTASTIC song. Love love love love love “Idiologie”!
“They were cold things, dead things, that hated iron and fire and the touch of the sun, and every creature with hot blood in its veins. They swept over holdfasts and cities and kingdoms, felled heroes and armies by the score, riding their pale dead horses and leading hosts of the slain. All the swords of men could not stay their advance, and even maidens and suckling babes found no pity in them. They hunted the maids through frozen forests, and fed their dead servants on the flesh of human children.”

Turns out this week’s ep wasn’t the season finale, thank God! I don’t know how these guys are doing it, but this episode trumped all the other previous episodes… episodes that are on par with The Sopranos XD. This is ridiculous! The great thing about this week’s ep is that it wasn’t written by Matthew Weiner, the show’s creator, and it’s not even the finale. I know I’m going to gush about next week’s ep, and I hate repeating myself like this. Mad Men… UGH!
In the beginning of the season, I was questioning why Don Draper influenced me so much, why I admired and looked up to him, but now I remember…

One day I will learn how to play this
Mad Men and Game of Thrones season finale tonight. I don’t know how they are going to resolve everything set up in Game of Thrones. Now Mad Men… what a mess! Last week’s episode… ugh!
Phenomenal. Unfathomable. Goliath.
Best season of Mad Men BY FAR, and that’s saying something considering the previous seasons. It shouldn’t be possible for this show to keep outshining itself. Mad Men has everything… and so much of it. It’s going to be a great finale. Fact.
Can’t wait for it to come out on blu-ray.
I made a playlist full of my summer compilation albums and I came across this song that I haven’t listened to since last year.

Television’s Ubiquitous Alpha Males
Critical darlings like Mad Men and Breaking Bad have television enjoying a new golden age—so why are their protagonists all so damn similar?
